“We’re just excited to introduce folks that aren’t familiar with our project and provide updates to those that are familiar and have been keeping an eye on it,” Hughes said.

The Point at Harbour View is located near the College Drive exit off I-664 and is considered a premier site for development due to its central location in Hampton Roads, easy interstate access and proximity to the waterfronts of the James and Nansemond rivers, according to yessuffolk.com.

The site features 55 acres zoned for mixed-use development to attract an array of commercial applications, including retail, hotel and residential projects.

“The newly constructed roundabout maximizes access to the Point with little disruption to the surrounding area,” according to yessuffolk.com. It’s also expected that both surging population growth and development at the Point will catalyze future development at the former TCC site. “The Point at Harbour View is envisioned to be an innovative, highly desirable and unique regional destination where research shows future demographics will opt to live, shop or work.”
