The Bulldogs golf team finished their regular-season schedule with a win over Wilson on Monday.
Though the match didn’t last long due to rain, the Bulldogs defeated Wilson High School. It was another good 197-245 win for King’s Fork High School golf team at Nansemond River Golf Course. Rebecca Hutchings was the medalist with a score of 45.
Now, King’s Fork will start gearing up for the regional tournament. Coach Robert Casteen has been coaching his team up the last few weeks on what is possibly to come. Over the last few weeks, the Bulldogs have gathered a lot of momentum with wins over rivals. King’s Fork doesn’t want just an individual golfer to advance in regionals but rather the whole team.
There are a lot of talented teams in the Class 4 Region A. However, the Bulldogs believe they are talented as well and can do some good things in the postseason.
