Rodgers to host camp at KFHS

Former King’s Fork High School star Sugar Rodgers will host a camp at her alma mater on Sept. 8.
The current WNBA standout and former King’s Fork legend will be in Suffolk next week to host her Sugar Rodgers Basketball Camp 2018. At King’s Fork, Rodgers was a three-time Player of the Year, McDonald’s All-American, All-State and Parade All-American. In the WNBA, she was an All-Star selection in 2017 and the WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year.
The first session will be from 8 a.m. to noon and will be for ages 8-11. The second session will be from 1 to 5 p.m. and will be for ages 12-15.
The sessions will be taught by various high school and college coaches along with current and former players. All sessions will be filled with fun all while learning skills to improve in the game of basketball.
