The 14U Suffolk Blazers completed the 2009 AAU basketball season with a sixth-place finish in the AAU Division II National Tournament Aug. 1-8 in Orlando.

The Blazers competed against 104 teams from around the nation at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Jostens Center and Milkhouse and the Orlando Sports Complex. The Blazers went 8-1 in the tournament.

In the four-year history of the Blazers, they’ve won two regional championships, two state championships (2008, 2009) and finished seasons with national rankings of sixth, 10th and 11th.
