Police investigate shooting

Suffolk police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday afternoon in the 600 block of Carolina Road.
The shooting was reported at 2:01 p.m., according to a city press release. A male victim was airlifted to a hospital with injuries believed to be life-threatening, the release stated.
The incident is still under investigation, and no further information is available, the release stated.
