Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Jarrett Mayer, senior, Nansemond River High School baseball: Mayer went 3-4 with two runs and a RBI in the Warriors’ win over the Bulldogs.

Jean-Mathias Bile’, senior, King’s Fork High School soccer: Bile’ scored a goal against Lake Taylor High School and played pivotal defense in both team wins over Lake Taylor and Lakeland high schools.
