The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball team had six players recognized on the All-Conference team for the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools for their play this season.

Addy Greene, Madison Inscoe, Emerson Puzey and Madi Wilson were first team All-Conference selections. Reese Byrd and Gabby Infranco were selected to the second team.

NSA lost only one game throughout its TCIS regular season play, and that was to Greenbrier Christian Academy. All players stood out in NSA’s regular season, where they spent most of the season ranked No. 1 in the Virginia Independent Athletic Association Division II poll.

The VISAA state semifinal was rescheduled due to weather. The Lady Saints will play at 11 a.m. Friday at Dinwiddie Sportsplex, and if they win, the championship is still set to be played at noon Saturday at the same place.
