Gymnasts score big

World Class Gymnastics Too’s first-ever Level 10s, Trinity Caffey, Sarah Dorough and Alisa Hardee, competed at their level 10 Regional Championship meet in Landover, Md., April 12. Trinity earned 2nd place on bars (9.35). All three athletes earned their best all-around scores of the season. Trinity qualified to Junior Olympic Nationals, to be held in Cincinnati in May.

World Class Gymnastics Too’s Level 9 Gymnasts competed at their Regional Championship meet in Landover as well, and all three who competed are heading to Eastern Nationals in Rochester, N.Y. Madeleine McCauley and Reagan Summerlin both qualified to their age group Region 7 teams, and Trinity Coley is the first alternate. Madeleine placed 3rd on bars (9.15), and Trinity placed 2nd (9.6) on vault.

World Class compulsory gymnasts also competed at the Spring Fling Invitational in Virginia Beach. WCGT’s top-3 finishers are as follows:

  • Korynn Jubilee: 3rd V, 2nd UB, 2nd BB, 2nd AA
  • Kamil Reed: 2nd BB
  • Lily Ditman: 1st BB, 3rd FX
  • Ava Collins: 3rd UB
  • Allison Tone: 2nd BB
  • Kaitlyn Willis: 3rd V, 3rd BB
  • Aria Smith: 3rd V
  • Sophia Ruiz: 3rd UB
