The Lady Cavs soccer team went on the road Friday and took a loss to the Monarchs.

The Lady Cavs fell 3-0 to Menchville High School. Even though it was the Lady Cavs’ first loss, Coach Adam Smith believes that was the best effort in a game his team had shown up to this point this season. Menchville is a Class 5 school.

Lakeland will try to get back on track at home against Wilson High School at 7 p.m. Monday.
