Senior Indiah Hunter put on a show in the Lady Warriors’ win over Norview High School on Monday.

The Nansemond River High School girls’ soccer team improved to 2-0 after the 7-0 win. The Lady Warriors were led by Hunter’s stellar performance with five goals.

It was a new career high for the senior, and she felt very accomplished to be able to contribute to her team’s win.

“I wasn’t expecting to score that many goals,” Hunter said. “It kind of just happened. I was working hard, and I finished my chances.”

Hunter has scored seven goals in the team’s first two games. Nansemond River will go for its third win in a row as they face Woodside High School on the road at 7 p.m. Friday.
