With an 80-51 win on the road Tuesday evening, the Warriors are finishing the season on a strong note.
Nansemond River High School boys’ basketball team defeated Hickory High School in a big road win. The Warriors haven’t had as much success as they had hoped this season; however, that isn’t deterring them from finishing the season strong.
Jeremiah Lewis earned his 20th double-double of the season for the Warriors after putting together 16 points and 15 rebounds. The Warriors notched a 51-point second half to cruise their way to victory.
“When our defense is good, our offense gets rolling, and when our offense is rolling, our defense is much better,” Warriors coach Ed Young said. “It was a fun game, because we did a lot of things right.”
