Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Leontre Bailey, junior, King’s Fork High School basketball: Bailey scored 30 points in the Bulldogs’ win over Grassfield High School.
• Daiqwaun Faircloth, senior, Nansemond River High School track and field: Faircloth placed second in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 7.43 at the VA Showcase.
• Kaylah Brown, senior, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy basketball: Brown had a game-high 15 points in the Lady Saints’ 40-14 win.
