Police investigate shooting of juvenile

Police are investigating a shooting that took place Thursday afternoon.
The shooting was reported at 3:16 p.m. in the 300 block of Hunter Street, according to a city press release. The juvenile male victim was transported to an area hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
The victim is a teenager, city spokeswoman Diana Klink stated in an email.
The incident remains under investigation, the press release stated. No further information is being released.
