Bon Secours Health System’s Executive Council was honored in October with the “2017 ERG & Council Honors Award” as a Nation’s Top 25 Employee Resource Group and Diversity Council.
Bon Secours received the award at the ninth annual ERG & Council Conference in Orlando, Fla., presented by PRISM International Inc., a diversity and inclusion training and consulting firm, and its practice group the Association of ERGs & Councils.
The Bon Secours Executive Council was specifically recognized for its exemplary leadership in serving as the governing body for diversity and inclusion at the organization.
The prestigious ERG & Council Honors Award recognizes the outstanding contributions and achievements of U.S. Employee Resource Groups, Business Resource Groups and Diversity Councils that lead organizational diversity and inclusion processes and demonstrate results in their workforce, workplace and marketplace.
Bon Secours was selected from among 1,330 applicants representing corporations, government agencies and not-for-profits from various sectors, geographies and organization sizes.
“At Bon Secours, we believe that the diversity that exists among all people is one of God’s greatest gifts to the world,” said Gloria Goins, chief diversity and inclusion officer for Bon Secours Health System. “Our commitment to honor and appreciate this diversity starts at the very top of our organization. This award recognizes some of the many ways in which our leaders lead our diversity and inclusion strategy by their own examples.”
