Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System has opened a new facility in Western Branch, Bon Secours Taylor Road, located at 2613 Taylor Road.
The two-story, 30,000-square-foot medical office space includes the following primary care, physical therapy services and occupational medicine.
InMotion Physical Therapy, formerly located at Chesapeake Square, is now on the first floor of the facility.
Bon Secours Occupational Medicine, also relocated from Chesapeake Square, occupies the balance of the first floor.
Two primary care practices of Bon Secours Medical Group — Internists of Western Branch, formerly located at 4020 Raintree Road and Western Branch Family Practice, formerly located at 3253 Taylor Road — moved into the second floor of the building and have been renamed Western Branch Primary Care.
“Bon Secours Taylor Road allows us to improve access to primary care, physical therapy and occupational medicine,” said Mark Nantz, chief executive officer at Bon Secours Hampton Roads.
“In addition to bringing these services together in one convenient location, this new location also offers us the opportunity to expand these services and better meet the growing need for care in Western Branch and adjacent communities.”
In addition to the Bon Secours building, plans for Taylor Road Centre include a one-story, 5,000-square-foot building with space for retail services. The multi-use office complex represents a $12.5-million investment by the Robinson Development Group.
Construction of Bon Secours Taylor Road was overseen by PG Harris Construction Company. Randy Hicks Design was the architect, and the civil engineers were American Engineering.
