Bulldogs remain top three

The King’s Fork High School football team is 5-1 on the season and remains within the top three of the 4A regional rankings.
The Bulldogs dominated the Wildcats 53-6 last Friday, which led to King’s Fork having one of their best starts in recent school history. In the Virginia High School League top 20 weekly regional rankings, the Bulldogs sit at No. 3.
Lakeland High School currently sits at No. 10 in the 3A regional rankings.
Nansemond River High School is at No. 5 in the 5A regional with a record of 3-3. Nansemond River will face Western Branch High School this Friday, while King’s Fork will have a strong test against Indian River High School. Lakeland will return home to face Hickory High School.
