Nansemond River High School and Lakeland High School met up for a field hockey match that the Lady Warriors won 2-1.

The Lady Warriors hosted the Lady Cavs Wednesday afternoon and were victorious in the win. Taylor Cherry and Allie Fischer scored the goals for Nansemond River. MaKayla Snyder had the Lady Cavs’ goal, and Allison Thompson assisted.

Lakeland will face Indian River High School on the road at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Nansemond River will face Grassfield High School on the road at 5 p.m. Monday.
