Paul Calhoun has joined TowneBank as executive vice president and chief audit executive. He is based at TowneBank’s headquarters in Suffolk.

Calhoun has 13 years of industry experience and received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from North Carolina State University. A previous board member for the Institute of Internal Auditors — Triad Chapter, he is also a frequent speaker on the internal audit profession.

In the community, Calhoun volunteers with Boy Scouts of America, the YMCA and his local church.
