Police investigate attempted robbery

Suffolk police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that happened Tuesday.
The incident was reported at 3:32 p.m. from the Supreme Gas Station in the 1400 block of Holland Road. Preliminary investigation found that a male of unknown race entered the business, displayed a handgun and then fled on foot toward Kilby Shores Drive. No one was injured.
The subject is described as a younger male, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a slim build and wearing a black hoodie.
