King’s Fork High School’s football program held its annual Midnight Madness event on Friday night to welcome the new season.

Friends, family and fans of the King’s Fork football team got a chance to see what the 2017 Bulldogs will look like. Everyone was able to interact with each other while enjoying food and a live DJ, while watching the team scrimmage against itself.

Last year King’s Fork had around 700 people join the fun atmosphere. This year the Bulldogs increased the turnout to about 1,200 people.

The Bulldogs return a talented bunch this season and will officially kick off their season Aug. 25 on the road against Wilson High School.

As a tradition, after the scrimmage, the Bulldogs had a lock-in at the school. The lock-in creates a bonding opportunity for the team, which coaches hope will carry into and throughout the season.
