Firefighters extinguished a fire in a townhouse in the Harbour View area on Wednesday morning.

The fire in the 1000 block of Legends Way in the Harbourview South Villa neighborhood was reported at 7:43 a.m. The first units were on scene at 7:50 a.m.

The crews found heavy smoke coming from a kitchen fire. It was called under control at 8:10 a.m., and there were no injuries.

One person was displaced by the fire and is being assisted by the American Red Cross.

The fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
