The Rite Aid in the 1500 block of Holland Road was evacuated Tuesday morning after an employee found a suspicious package outside of the store, but it turned out to be a roadside assistance repair bag.
The package was reported at 11:25 a.m. The store was evacuated, and the entrance to the store was closed.
Virginia State Police responded with their bomb unit, as did the Suffolk Fire Marshal’s Office and the Suffolk Police Department.
