Russo Skinner, 80, of Lawson Circle, Suffolk, transitioned July 12, 2017, at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a native of Nansemond County and the son of the late William and Georgia Skinner. He was preceded in death by one brother, Norwood Skinner, and one sister, Magethlene.

He retired from Ervin Moulding Company.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Steve A. Skinner Sr.; two brothers, James Leon Skinner and Russell Skinner, both of Suffolk; two grandchildren, Steve A. Skinner Jr. and Keshawn Skinner; devoted caregiver, Etta R. Skinner; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries, Elder Sylvester Silver, officiating. Interment will be in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery.
