Charis Mental Health celebrated its grand opening at 2470 Pruden Blvd. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday.

Dr. Lakeisha Keneti, a nurse practitioner with a long background of working with people with mental health concerns, is the owner of the business. She will be assisted by Crystal Jones, another provider, and the two will serve patients of all ages.

“Our hopes are that providing mental health care in the community will subsequently decrease substance abuse and crime, while spreading the love of Jesus Christ,” the pair stated in a press release about the opening.
