TowneBank has announced the following promotions and new hires at its headquarters in Suffolk:

Robin Eldredge has joined the bank as a vice president and compliance audit officer.

Eldredge has 15 years of industry experience and received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Old Dominion University. She is a certified regulatory compliance manager and a certified financial services auditor and is a member of the Tidewater Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Institute of Certified Bankers.

Ylonda Ashby has been promoted to vice president and regulatory affairs coordinator.

Ashby has been with TowneBank for 14 years and has 32 years of industry experience. She is a Norfolk State University graduate.

Katie Katzer has been promoted to vice president. She is a security officer in the risk management division.

Katzer has worked with the bank for nearly four years and has 15 years of industry experience. She attended Tidewater Community College and Old Dominion University.

Katzer is a regular participant in the JTG Walk and volunteers with Feed the Homeless. She also regularly attends events at the Sentara Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly.

Sandi Mann has been promoted to assistant vice president. She works in the accounting department on accounts payable.

Mann has worked for the bank for 13 years and has 32 years of industry experience.

Sara Mooney, who works in the accounting department on financial planning and analysis, has been promoted to vice president.

Mooney joined the company in 2015 and has six years of industry experience. She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and her master’s in accounting from the University of Virginia

She is also a certified public accountant.

Jennifer Steele, who works in the accounting department on financial and regulatory reporting, has been promoted to vice president.

Steele has been with TowneBank for nearly eight years and has 15 years of industry experience. She earned her undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Potsdam and her master’s in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

She is also a certified public accountant.
