A Wisconsin man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison following his 2015 abduction and assault of a Suffolk teenager.

Peter Alan Diehl, 32, met the girl, 14 at the time, online and persuaded her to meet him. He picked her up at a parking lot near her home and then took him to his residence in Superior, Wis. The girl was missing for about a month and a half, until she called her mother from Diehl’s phone.

Diehl pleaded guilty to two counts of felony possession of child pornography in U.S. District Court pursuant to a plea agreement. Judge William Conley handed down the sentence.

State charges related to the case are still pending in Wisconsin.
