I am so proud to announce that the Suffolk Division of the Chamber of Commerce will be holding its second annual Suffolk Business Expo from 4 to 7 p.m. May 31 at the Hilton Garden Inn Riverfront in downtown Suffolk.
This event is free and open to the public, not just the business community.
We held this event for the first time last year, and we knew right off the bat that it was a perfect activity for our community. In doing so, we fulfilled an important milestone in creating this opportunity to ensure that the business and community climate in the city remains thriving and active.
Last year was a tremendous success, but we need the community to be involved.
The Hilton was our host last year, and we are so pleased that they again are offering up use of their facility. Among the things you can look forward to if you attend are business exhibitors, free refreshments, product demonstrations, great networking and community fun.
Also, while businesses can certainly expect that this event will be a worthwhile use of their time, it’s not just for businesses.
Civic organizations, religious institutions, clubs, and other community groups can get huge benefits from this effort.
Network with your peers and neighbors; learn about the great things going on in the city; provide feedback to businesses that are looking to grow and expand in the region; and have fun.
So make it your business to attend this year’s Business Expo!
Finally, please remember the other events going on that are sponsored by the Chamber: Suffolk State of the City on May 23 and a networking/social event at The Crossings at Harbour View from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on June 22.
Thank you so much for supporting the Chamber.
