Nansemond River High School’s girls’ soccer team defeated PenSouth opponent Bethel High School on the road Wednesday.

The Lady Warriors remain undefeated in conference play as they move to 5-0 after the 5-0 victory over Bethel. The win puts Nansemond River at 13-1 on the season. Saleena Lynch led the team with two goals.

Next, Nansemond River will face Warwick High School to determine the PenSouth regular season champion. They are currently 4-1 in the conference. Nansemond River will be the home team, which they will use to their advantage.

Warwick will travel to Nansemond River to face off at 7 p.m. Monday.
