Dwayne Eddie Goodman Sr., of the 1800 block of Hosier Road, transitioned on Sunday, May 7, 2017. He was born on Aug. 23, 1962, to Catherine Stephenson Goodman and the late James Goodman.

He was employed at Planters/Kraft as a jocky driver at his time of time of death.

Dwayne leaves to cherish his memory and legacy, his wife, Marcella Goodman; children, Dwayne Goodman Jr., Reshard Pope Sr., Darieon Perry and Dynazja Perry; mother, Catherine S. Goodman; brothers, David Goodman Sr. (Mia), James Goodman Jr. (Allison) and Booker T. Carter Jr.; sisters, Yvette Stephenson, Debrah Blount (Shawn), Ellen Carter, Mary Everett (Lorenzo) and Phyllis Woodley; grandchildren, Zarianna, Paris, ReShya, London, Reshaard Jr. and Jordyn; mother-in-law, Bernice Cherry; father-in-law, Leroy Cherry; sisters-in-law, Stephanie Boone, Katrina Reynolds (James), Cynthia Cherry, Janet Gay and Patricia Harrell; brother-in-law, Michael Britt; godsister, Inza Speight; godbrother, Richard Ross; and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Goodman’s visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday at New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries Church, and he will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
