Police are investigating a commercial burglary that happened early Friday at the Virginia ABC store in the 3500 block of Bridge Road.

The incident was reported at 2:15 a.m. following an alarm call. The burglary broke the front glass, entered the store and took several bottles of liquor, according to a city press release.

The subject was described in the press release as a black male wearing a hat, hood, gloves and face covering.
