Photography on display at PDCCC

The Suffolk Art League is displaying photography by Gary Hess and the late Janice Hess at Paul D. Camp Community College’s Hobbs Suffolk Campus, 271 Kenyon Road.
Gary Hess retired as a management analyst from the Department of the Army. He served on the Board of Directors of the Yorktown Arts Foundation/Gallery on the York. His interest in photography lead him to complete a two-year program in professional photography from the New York Institute of Photography.
Janice and Gary Hess formed ViewFinder Photographic Arts, where both worked as accomplished photographers. She passed away in 2013 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Gary Hess lives in Smithfield and is active with the Isle of Wight Arts League. He continues to exhibit his work widely in the Hampton Roads area including with the Suffolk Art League.
The exhibit will be on view in the Hobbs Campus library through May.
