Saints defeat No. 3 HRA

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s lacrosse team defeated Hampton Roads Academy Tuesday afternoon.
NSA is ranked No. 4 in the recent Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association poll. The team started off its week with a 12-6 victory over HRA. Garrett Leicester led the way for the Saints with four goals. HRA was ranked third in the same poll. This makes the second time this season NSA has defeated two teams that were ranked at some point ahead of them. Covenant School was the first team they defeated that were ahead of them.
NSA will now face Christchurch School at home Friday for senior day at 5 p.m. They are currently 8-4 on the season. Christchurch is ranked No. 5 behind NSA.
