Deacon William Henry Smith, 79, died on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Kindred Care Nansemond Pointe. A visitation will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A home going service will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday at New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries Church, and he will be laid to rest at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
