Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Deondre Little, junior, Lakeland High School track: Little finished second in the 100-meter dash in the second Southeastern District meet last Wednesday. He ran a time of 11.12.
• Cali Hinnant, freshman, King’s Fork High School softball: Hinnant struck out 13 batters and threw a three-hitter against Deep Creek High School in a 13-1 victory.
• Zion McCoy, senior, Nansemond River High School girls’ tennis: McCoy went undefeated in singles and doubles play last week for the Lady Warriors. She is currently the No. 2 singles player on the team and is 10-0 for the season in singles and doubles play.
