Mildred Palmer Creekmur

Mildred Palmer Creekmur, 87, entered into eternal life on April 10, 2017, at Maryview Hospital in Portsmouth. She was born in Capron (Southampton County) to the late Willie and Doris Palmer. Mildred graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Suffolk and attended Virginia State College and Norfolk State College. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Allen A. Creekmur.

Mildred Creekmur was a lifelong member of East End Baptist Church in Suffolk. She was also predeceased by sisters, Thelma Legette and Margaret Locust. She is survived by one sister, Bernice P. Hayes. A celebration of life service will be held at noon, April 17, 2017, at East End Baptist Church, 523 E. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434. Dr. Wayne D. Faison, officiating. Interment at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk, VA 23435.
