Duke Fletcher Doyle

Duke Fletcher Doyle, 57, passed away on April 3, 2017. He was born in Suffolk to the late John and Lucille Doyle. Duke was a loving brother who enjoyed fishing, baseball and his truck. He was devoted to his work and rarely took time off. Duke was also fond of Bunny’s restaurant in Suffolk.

Left to cherish his memory are brothers, Johnny (Laura) Doyle, Harvey (Julie) Doyle; niece, Cathy Smithey; nephews, Richard Connor, Kyle Doyle, Kevin Doyle; great-nieces, Madelynn Doyle, Ryleigh Doyle, Katelyn Connor; great-nephews, Aiden Pritchett, Brandon Connor; and extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at Oakland Christian Church, 5641 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, with the Rev. Wayne Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk.
