One man died in a three-vehicle crash on Godwin Boulevard Monday evening.

The victim has been identified as Duke F. Doyle, age 57, of Suffolk.

The accident happened about 7:49 p.m. in the 6400 block of Godwin Boulevard. The accident involved two passenger vehicles and a pickup truck.

A man was taken to a hospital via ground ambulance with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The roadway in the area is expected to remain until after midnight. Officers are redirecting northbound and southbound traffic.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
