Franklin B. Fowler

Franklin Beale Fowler, 84, of Green City, Mo., formerly of Warner Robins, Ga., and Dadeville and Montgomery, Ala., passed away March 22, 2017, in Green City, Mo. He was born on Dec. 26, 1932, in Franklin, a son of the late Charlie and Willie Beale Fowler. He was also predeceased by his wife, Katie Yi Fowler; son, Barry Dale Fowler; brothers, Charlie Fowler, of Hollywood, Fla., and Joseph Lee Fowler and his wife, Shirley, of Suffolk.

Mr. Fowler was in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years before retiring in 1974. Following his retirement, he was self-employed in Montgomery, Ala.

Those left to mourn the passing of Mr. Fowler includes his sons, Charles Yi Cummings and wife, Susanne, of Steward Drafts, Raymond Fowler, of Texas, Earl T. Fowler and wife, Rita, of Wetumpka, Ala., and Eric E. Fowler and wife, Chris, of Warner Robins, Ga.; daughters, Nancy Marie Fowler, of Warner Robins, Ga., and Lois DeBoeuf and husband, Thomas A. DeBoeuf, of Green City, Mo.; one brother, David T. Fowler and wife, Flossie, of Suffolk; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; along with his special friends from Montgomery and Dadeville, Ala., Virginia, and Warner Robins, Ga.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017, in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. John D. Watson officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
