Nansemond River High School’s girls’ soccer team got a quality 2-1 win against Hickory High School Tuesday evening.

The Lady Warriors have now started the season off 2-0. Saleena Lynch scored the go-ahead goal for the Lady Warriors at the 55-minute mark to give them the victory. Daijah Norris scored the first goal of the game for the Lady Warriors. Indiah Hunter assisted on both goals.

Nansemond River will be at home against Indian River High School at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
