The Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Department are hosting a business marketing workshop, “Make It Happen All Year Long,” from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on March 31 at Hampton Inn and Suites, 200 Vincents Crossing, Smithfield.

The workshop will be presented by Marc Willson, retail and restaurant consultant for the Virginia Small Business Development Center.

The workshop will address how to maximize sales by showing how to make the most of local events, be authentic, examine traditional versus new media, and understand why you should concentrate your marketing on new visitors on new media.
