Warrants are on file for a Suffolk man related to an alleged sexual assault, and police are seeking the public’s assistance locating him.

Marcel Andre Ausby, 36, of the 100 block of Nancy Drive, has warrants on file for one count of abduction with intent to defile and attempted object sexual penetration related to incidents that occurred on Tuesday morning in the 100 block of North Main Street, according to a city press release.

The incident involved an adult female who was known to the victim, according to the press release.

Ausby is described as 6 feet tall, 250 pounds, with black hair and black eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous, according to the release.

People who are aware of his whereabouts are asked not to approach him but to call 911 or your local police department.
