Farmers Bankshares opened a new office in the Chesapeake market on Wednesday.
Located at 1403 Greenbrier Parkway, the facility is a full-service branch headed by Jeffrey Creekmore, senior vice president and Chesapeake market executive and Deborah Cagle, vice president and branch manager/business development officer.
“We can assure citizens and business owners in Chesapeake that we will bring the same commitment to you that we’ve given to Isle of Wight, Suffolk and Southampton since 1919,” said Chief Executive Officer, Richard J. Holland Jr.
“We are excited about the new relationships we will develop and the value we can bring to small businesses and consumers within the Chesapeake market. We have been very intentional and disciplined with our expansion plans and feel that we have found the ideal fit of location and staff.”
The location will also have a full-service ATM and universal bankers that can perform multiple tasks.
Farmers Bank, founded in 1919, is headquartered in Windsor and operates seven branches and services areas throughout Tidewater.
