The Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts will hold a Camp Preview Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

There will be a $25 discount per child per camp for those who register that day.

Students and parents will get a sneak peek at the types of activities that will occur at Art Camp, Music Camp, Theatre Camp, and STEAM Camp.

During Preview Day students can try their hand at various robotic exercises, pendulum art, pulled string art and more. Each camp will have an interest table that will have information about typical activities for campers.

Art Camp will be held the week of June 19, Music Camp will be held the week of July 17, Theatre Camp will be held the week of Aug. 7 and STEAM Camp will be held the week of Aug. 28.

Students in first through sixth grades can attend art, theatre, and STEAM camps. Music Camp is for students in third through sixth grades.

The Suffolk Center partners with Young Audiences of Virginia for art and theatre camps and with Sylvan Learning Center for STEAM.

Need-based scholarships are available for students at all four of the Suffolk Center’s summer camps.
