Nansemond River High School was defeated by Warwick High School 45-55 in the Conference 10 semifinals Wednesday evening.

This wasn’t the first time Warwick had defeated Nansemond River, as Warwick also beat the Lady Warriors back on Jan. 14 at King’s Fork.

Nansemond River then went on to defeat Warwick in the regular season finale last week on Feb. 9. Hampton High School and Warwick will play each other for the Conference 10 tournament championship.

Since the Lady Warriors won the regular season outright and was the No. 1 seed in the tournament, they get an automatic regional bid despite their semifinal loss. Regional seeding will be determined after conference championships are complete.
