Two promoted at TowneBank

Robin S. Cooke has been named president of the Portsmouth/Suffolk region of Suffolk-based TowneBank. The bank also has announced the appointment of Belinda Agricola as director of retail banking.
Cooke will lead the commercial and retail teams, along with the board of directors. Her responsibilities include member and community service, loan guidance and overall growth in Portsmouth and Suffolk.
In her new role, Agricola will support and guide the retail branch deposit and loan-growth efforts.
Cooke, who has been with TowneBank since it was formed, has more than 24 years of experience in the banking industry.
She is a graduate of Old Dominion University and the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management. She was also a participant in the Vann H. Lefcoe Leadership Development program, and is a member of Civic Leadership Institute.
In the community, Cooke serves on the board at Trinity Lutheran School.
Agricola has been a member of the Towne Family for over eight years and has over 40 years of banking experience. A Portsmouth resident, she previously managed TowneBank’s Town Center, Oyster Point, and Portsmouth Boulevard offices. Within the community, she volunteers her time with the United Way, Salvation Army and Bank on Hampton Roads.
