Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s Lady Saints fell to Tallwood High School at home Friday evening, 42-38.

The loss snaps a five-game win streak for the Lady Saints. Kelly Hogan had 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Lindsay Knierbein added nine points and 12 rebounds.

Turnovers seemed to be the issue for the Lady Saints, as they had 21 turnovers to Tallwood’s two turnovers. Defensively, NSA did record 10 steals.

“It was a tough game,” Hogan said. “But like any tough game, we need to take the lessons we learned from it and look to improve in the next game.”

NSA will play Norfolk Christian on the road Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
