The King’s Fork High School Bulldogs fell to Smithfield High School Saturday in the last game in the King’s Fork Showcase.

The Bulldogs lost 73-63. The Packers started the game off with a lot of energy, from which the Bulldogs were unable to recover. Prior to the game, Smithfield had only one loss on the season.

It was only the fourth loss for the Bulldogs on the season. It was also King’s Fork’s third game in three nights, after having won their previous two games.

King’s Fork will have a full slate on Conference 17 games this week. After facing Great Bridge early in the week, the Bulldogs will have a showdown with Lake Taylor at home at 7 p.m. Jan. 20.
