Lady Bulldogs take seventh

The Lady Bulldogs won their final game of the Boo Williams/Ronald Curry Christmas Classic, giving them a seventh-place finish on Friday.
In its last game of three in the tournament, King’s Fork defeated Kentucky’s East Carter High School, 50-37.
King’s Fork finished the Classic with a 1-2 record and will go into the new year with an 8-2 overall record.
Next the Lady Bulldogs will take on Nansemond River which will feature two of the best girls’ basketball teams in Suffolk, as well as Hampton Roads. The game will be played at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at King’s Fork.
