In observance of the New Year’s holiday, Suffolk City offices will be closed Monday and will reopen for normal operations on Tuesday.

The city observes all state-designated holidays, and it will follow the state’s practice of observing the Sunday holiday on Monday this year.

There will be no change to the trash or TFC Recycling collection schedule for the week.
