A North Suffolk community will be complete in the coming months.
The Residence at Hampton Roads Crossing community is nearing completion. However, there are still some lots that are undergoing construction.
Once finished, the subdivision is expected to have 290 homes, according to Jen Barkan, Rose and Womble Realty new homes specialist representing Terry Peterson Residential.
Barkan said residents have raved about the community’s location.
“It’s centrally located,” she said. “All the new shopping, retail and restaurants make it a good place to live, work and play. People like how easily accessible the community is from anywhere in Hampton Roads.”
Just up the road on College Drive, there are several retailers and restaurants, including Kroger, Ross, Rite Aid, Zaxby’s and Texas Roadhouse.
The area is also attractive to military families and personnel, as the neighborhood is in close proximity to several bases and contractors in the area.
The homes, available in four model styles, range from single-family attached and detached condominiums and townhomes. The residences are more than 1,320 to more than 1,990 square feet, according to the Terry Peterson Residential website. Prices range from $185,900 to more than $250,000.
The homes typically have three to four bedrooms, 2.5 baths and one- to two-car garages. The single-family detached homes have porches and balconies.
The home features include stainless steel kitchen appliances, crown molding and energy-efficient windows, Barkan said.
The community amenities include a pool, a clubhouse, a fitness room and walking paths.
